Sometimes Upholstery is not on your list of things to have cleaned until there is stain or too many spots to bear, and by then, it may be too late! Human and pet hairs, food crumbs, drink spills, and airborne pollutants get caught in the fabric. If you have allergies or breathing conditions, it’s a "must" to vacuum your everyday use furnishings on a weekly / bi-weekly basis and have them cleaned every six months to a year.
From your day to day family room furnishings to your fine living room pieces; Natural or Synthetic Fibers, I can match the service to the fabric to ensure the proper service to clean your upholstered pieces. Products vary from Fabric to Fabric and Spot to Spot and testing is performed to ensure product compatability. Further, most upholstered pieces are cleanings are performed using a Low Moisture Cleaning method, but depending on the need, I also provide:

and Foam Only Cleaning Methods
Spotting and Specialty Stain Removal
Please keep in mind that it is more difficult to remove spots and stains from upholstered pieces than carpet with out
damaging/ fading the color and fabric. I will only give you a reasonable expectation based on safe practices
to remove them. Even if I perform a test on fabrics, I will require a waiver more aggressive methods than
those standard for the particular type of fabric.

When working over Wood Floors and other Delicate Flooring we use Double sided Drop cloths. Canvas on one side and PVC on the other these drop cloths provide SUPERIOR PROTECTION as compared to plastic sheeting. While neihter material is considered a GREEN product the double sided ones that we use are the GREENER OPTION; they can washed and re-used up to a couple of dozen times, before they become tattered & loose their water resistant capabilities and even then I can recycle them by giving them to my contractor friends for then to tape for dry use!
   
These Double sided drop clothes cost $19.00 each coming in one size 4' by 15' one size only and the plastic ones only $4-6 depending on the size and they need to be laundered between each use when used for upholstery cleaning becasue of over sprays and soiling. Thus I must charge a minimum of $ 10 per drop cloth used to cover their cost in both purchasing and repeatedly washing and folding them in the basement at the end of the day.
Thus, working over wood and other delicate flooring, will call for a up to a 15-30% surcharge, depending on the amount of protection to be provided to cover the materials and extra time required to provide the service.
